Pets Best Review - Are Pets Best Best for You?

insurance commissioner complaints

Pet insurance can make it very costly to pay for a pet's medical bills. Pets Best is here for you. They offer 100% coverage. Their deductibles are small and they don't discriminate on the basis of pre-existing conditions. They will pay your claim within two days and send you a paper check.

Spot has a low deductible

Spot customers may choose policies with a $2,500-$10,000 deductible. They can also select an annual deductible that is low or unlimited. They can file claims online or through Spot's app. To process a claim, they will need to have the pet's medical records. Customers will get an email response once they have filed a claim. A personalized claims portal allows customers to view the status of their claim.

Spot's pet policy covers medical care, diagnosis tests, and treatments of major and minor ailments. It also covers accidental injuries, hospitalization, surgery, and medical supplies. Spot is covered for dental cleanings unlike other insurance policies. Spot covers 80% of your expenses and has a low deductible.

Spots are priced higher than the norm in young pets

Spot provides two types of pet insurance plans, Preventive Care or Accidents and Injuries. Both cover hospitalization, surgery, and prescription medications. Spot also reimburses vet exam fees associated with accidents and illnesses. Multiple pets can be insured at a discounted rate by the insurance company.

Prices for policies start at $2,500 and go up to $10,000. You can choose unlimited coverage or an annual limit depending on which plan you choose. Spot allows you to submit claims online or via Spot’s app. The veterinary records should be submitted within 270 calendar days.

Spot doesn't cover pre-existing medical conditions

Spot's coverage doesn't exclude pre-existing medical conditions, unlike most pet insurance plans. The policy does not cover certain health conditions. Some health conditions, such as intervertebral disc disease, dental disease, hip dysplasia and intervertebral disease, are not covered. Exclusions also include expenses related to boarding or daycare, and dental and orthodontic treatments. Insurance does not cover cosmetic treatments or bilateral conditions.

One downside to Spot's pre-existing condition policy is that it will not cover veterinary treatment for arthritis. Pre-existing conditions are any medical condition that occurred before the plan was issued. Unless the condition is already under control, the insurance company will not pay for arthritis treatment. Although there is no age limit for this policy, customers must pay a deductible at least $2,500 to cover any vet expenses.
